Product description The KC-990 Stereo Mixing Keyboard Amplifier with Effects from Roland features 320W of output power, four line-input channels, a dedicated auxiliary input, and support for an XLR vocal mic. Paired with two built-in 12" woofers and two horn tweeters, the keyboard amplifier can be used by musicians and producers to amplify pianos, organs, synthesizers, rhythm machines, and other electronic instruments. The KC-990's cabinet provides extended low-frequency response without distortion. There is an auxiliary channel with 1/8" and RCA inputs for connecting smartphones, music players, or other devices. Channel 1 also includes an XLR input, allowing you to plug in a vocal mic for even more versatility. Furthermore, this keyboard amplifier integrates into many environments. The stereo 1/4" line outputs, enable you to interface with PA systems, stage monitors, and other recording devices. There are stereo XLR outputs with switchable ground lifts, which eliminates hum that can occur when connecting to a main PA. Plugging into the phones jack, will mute the onboard speakers. This is suitable for private practice sessions and checking sounds on stage with headphones. The amplifier also includes four caster wheels for easy transport. - Full-Range Sound for Keyboards and Electronic Musical Instruments
- The KC-990 offers full-range audio reproduction with 320W of power in a portable amp. The cabinet features two 12" speakers and two horn tweeters. It is suitable to amplify 88-note stage pianos, organs, and synthesizers, plus rhythm machines and other electronic instruments.
- Built-In Stereo Effects
- The KC-990 comes equipped with four different effects for sweetening your live sound. The chorus effect is derived from JC-series amps and provides depth and dimension through the amplifier's stereo speakers. The KC-990 also includes tremolo and rotary effects that work with organs and electric pianos, plus stereo reverb for vocals and instruments. By connecting optional footswitches, you can turn the effects on/off and control rotary speed hands-free while performing.
- Onboard Mixing for Big Rigs and Full Groups
- Roland's KC-990 amplifier is a complete stereo sound system and is suitable for backline amplification, stage monitoring, and even main PA use. With four stereo line input channels you can connect keyboards, percussion pads, drum machines, and more. There's also a dedicated auxiliary input to plug in a smartphone or music player for backing tracks. Channel 1 includes an XLR input too, allowing you to connect a vocal mic for even more versatility. The Aux In channel supports 1/8", RCA, and 1/4" connections, and features a handy monitor function for working with guide tracks on stage.
- Versatile Connectivity for Performing, Recording, and Practice
- The keyboard amplifier can integrate into any playing environment. It is equipped with stereo line outputs on both XLR and 1/4" jacks that enable you to interface with PA systems, stage monitors, and recording devices. There is a ground lift for eliminating hum when connecting to a main PA. There's a headphone jack, which is suitable for private practice sessions and checking sounds on stage with headphones.
- Expand Your Setup with Stereo Link
- If you ever want to expand your inputs or monitor in stereo, the KC-990's Stereo Link function makes it simple. The number of available inputs doubles when you connect to the two stereo link jacks on a second KC-990. In addition, the left and right signals of connected stereo instruments are split across the two amps, allowing you to bring a studio-like monitoring experience to your stage performance setup.
