Product description The PD-125X from Roland is an electronic drum that's been designed to be used with TD series sound modules. Both the mesh head and the rim have separate sensors. When used with the TD-9, TD-12, or the TD-20 sound module, both sensors can fire simultaneously for a more accurate representation of the interaction between the head, rim, and the strike of your sticks. When used with the TD-4, TD-8, or TD-10 sound module, just the mesh head sensor will be active.A drum key is included so you can tighten the responsive mesh head to your liking. The rubber rim and mesh head are acoustically very quiet when being played. It's the ultimate drum that can be banged on at any hour without disturbing anyone. The PD-125X comes with a two-way mount holder. This enables you to mount it vertically on a Roland MDS series stand, or horizontally on the pipe system of a commercially available tom stand. The outer shell of the PD-125X is an attractive synthetic material with an authentic brushed-metal appearance. You can even switch up its look as quickly and easily as you can change a drum head. With the addition of the blue brushed-metal wrap (the CV-20KX-BU) or the red brushed-metal wrap (CV-20KX-RD) your PD-125X can have a whole new look. - Advanced V-Pad sensor construction captures impact strength, stick position, and stroke interval
- Sensors detect the slightest nuances of your performance and transmit precise performance data to the module
- The radial sensor-frame detects hits near the hoop and interacts with the center sensor in a uniform fashion
- The sensor precisely senses your performance information during rim shots and cross-stick performances
- Mesh heads and rubber coated rims are acoustically quiet for the ultimate private practice
- Customize your look with replaceable covers in metallic red or blue (sold separately)
- The lugs float independently from the shell, so the covers can be changed as easily as a drum head
