Product description The RT-MicS Hybrid Drum Module from Roland is a compact module that attaches to your acoustic drum kit, with no extra gear, and transforms your snare and tom into versatile digital pads. It features eight preloaded sounds from hand-claps to snare variations and can be used to capture, process, and even mix the acoustic snare/tom sound and digital sound for a signature tone.For ambitious drummers, that's just the start; you can import sampled sounds from a computer via USB, and mix the sampled sound (percussion, sound effects, or any other sound up to 10 seconds in length) with the acoustic instrument. The versatile and easy to use RT-MicS is a natural way to explore the exciting possibilities of hybrid drums. - Layer Acoustic and Digital Sounds on Your Snare and Toms
- The RT-MicS makes it easy to layer sounds for head-turning snare and tom performances. It's simple to trigger the eight preloaded sounds, just hit the drum with the RT-MicS attached and your chosen electronic sound will be played simultaneously.
- Import Your Original Sampled Sounds
- First, download the free RT-MicS Sender software for transferring your original sample data to the unit. Then, import up to eight sounds (each up to 10 seconds) via USB and get creative. You could mix your acoustic snare and toms with sound effects, or layer them with other instruments that you can't bring to the gig, like gongs and timpani.
- Customize Your Snare and Toms with the On-Board Mic
- Attach the RT-MicS to the rim of your acoustic drums and record their sound with the onboard mic (no external gear needed).
