Product description Multi-Monitors: Maximizing Multitasking Read More The Vista DVI Plus KVM Switch from Rose Electronics supports digital and analog video, audio, specialty keyboards, and mice. With USB 2.0 peripherals, the KVM switch also supports USB keyboards and mice. Switching can be performed where the KVM, USB peripherals, and audio are all switched together to a selected CPU port. Additionally, you can switch the KVM to CPU port 1, the USB peripherals to CPU port 2, and the audio to CPU port 6. The Vista DVI Plus can be connected to an additional unit and synchronized to switch video from a dual-head computer. You simply need to connect video 1 to one unit and video 2 to a second unit. When a switching command is sent to the master unit, it sends the same switching command to the secondary unit. Both units are switched to the same CPU port and video 1 and video 2 are displayed on the attached monitors. With the front-panel display or hotkey sequences, the Vista DVI Plus makes selective switching easy. For flexibility, the switch supports sending serial-switching commands from a remote computer via a serial cable. - 1x8 dual-link DVI-I switch

- RS232 serial port for upgrades to the unit's firmware and for synchronizing two or more Vista DVI plus units so multiple computers/video screens can be switched and accessed
