Product description The Ruggard Red Series Magma Tech Convertible Bag is both a shoulder bag with a 53" adjustable strap, and a backpack that is designed to provide easy, on-the-go access to a laptop and tablet as well as books, binders, files, and small electronics. Within the spacious main compartment that can accommodate books, personal files, or documents are two dedicated laptop and tablet sleeves. The cushioned laptop sleeve accommodates up to a 15.4" notebook computer and the tablet sleeve holds an iPad or similar device up to 10.0". A soft interior lining within the tablet sleeve prevents screen scratches. An elastic touch-tab strap can be fastened over both the laptop and tablet compartments to prevent their contents from falling out even if the bag is turned upside-down while the main compartment is opened.
Opposite the laptop and tablet sleeves are labeled pockets for computer peripherals such as mice and power adapters. A dedicated organizational compartment contains multiple pockets for pens, business cards, and small electronics, plus a metal ring clip that offers a dedicated location for keys. A zippered rear pocket provides a convenient space for additional folders or other small items. When traveling with rolling luggage, the 3D mesh on back slips over a trolley handle for more convenient transport. Twin open-top pockets with fabric fasteners on the front flap provide a good space for small items such as snack bar or sunglasses so that they can be accessed with minimal effort, and a dual-layer external side pocket that features an inner mesh layer with an elastic band that works in tandem with a durable, zippered outer nylon layer can securely hold a water bottle or umbrella.
When converting your Magma Tech from a bag to a backpack, stow the two top handles inside their designated zippered pockets. To fully convert the bag, deploy the backpack straps from their hidden location behind the exterior, breathable, padded 3D mesh in back. Stowing away unnecessary handles and straps prevents them from getting snagged on furniture, tree branches, and other potential obstacles.
Thoughtfully designed inside and out, the Ruggard Red Lining creates contrast inside the front and main compartments to help you find, at a glance, whatever is placed inside the durable 150-denier polyester interior, while the weather-resistant 900-denier polyester exterior and reinforced base allows you to use the Ruggard Red Series Magma Tech Convertible Messenger Bag day in and day out with confidence.
