Product description Connect two 2.5" or 3.5" external hard drives to your desktop or notebook system using the 2.5"/3.5" SATA to USB 3.0 Dual Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station from Sabrent. This external drive dock is equipped with two SATA II 3 Gb/s drive bays, both of which support 2.5" and 3.5" drives, and connects to your host system using its USB 3.0 Type-B port and an included USB 3.0 Type-B to Type-A cable. In addition to its docking capabilities, this unit can duplicate/clone an existing hard drive to a blank hard drive for back up purposes. While in use, an integrated cooling fan helps keep things cool.
Sabrent has designed the drive bays in this product to be hot-swappable, meaning nothing needs to be turned off or powered down when removing/replacing drives, and the unit itself features plug-and-play connectivity, meaning that no additional software or drives are required for use. In case your system doesn't support USB 3.0, which is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 are supported. Also included is a power supply and a power cable, and protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty, which is extended to two years upon online registration with Sabrent within 90 days of purchase.
