Product description Compatible with standard 2.5" SATA hard drives and solid-state drives, the 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure from Sabrent has been built using a lightweight aluminum enclosure which helps dissipate heat while also remaining portable. Surrounding the enclosure is a rubber bumper, which helps to provide protection against shock. Thanks to its USB 2.0 Type-A interface, it can achieve read and write speeds of up to 480 Mb/s. Backward compatible with 12 Mb/s USB 1.1, this enclosure allows drives to be hot swapped, and plug-and-play functionality means that no additional drivers are required for use. Additionally, it is powered using the USB bus, meaning that no additional power cables are required for use. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty.
