Product description The M.2 NGFF SSD to USB 3.0 Aluminum Enclosure from Sabrent is an accessory that's designed to contain an internal M.2 NGFF solid-state drive and transfer its data to an external USB 3.0 drive. This portable enclosure is equipped with a B&M key edge connector port and features a USB 3.0 host interface, which can be connected to a USB 3.0 port on your desktop or laptop computer. Data transfer rates can reach up to 5 Gb/s utilizing this interface.
The enclosure is made from aluminum, which provides durable protection for your installed M.2 SSD by resisting drops, shock, and dust. Monitor your enclosure's connection with its integrated LED light indicator, which signals the operation status for this device. Furthermore, this enclosure is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and features a hot-swappable, plug-and-play design, so you can use it straight out of the box without drivers. - USB 3.1 Gen 1 features a maximum throughput of 5 Gb/s. USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 are synonymous.
