Product description Add three USB ports and a memory card reader to your PC or Mac with the USB 3.0 3-Port Hub and Multi-Card Reader from Sabrent. Boasting an aluminum design, three USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an attached 12" USB Type-A connector cable, and a trio of memory card slots, this compact USB hub is capable of data transfer rates up to 5 Gb/s and supports CompactFlash, SD, SDXC, SDHC, microSD, microSDXC, microSDHC, MMC, and M2 memory cards. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, the plug-and-play USB 3.0 3-Port Hub and Multi-Card Reader doesn't require an installation CD or drivers to install; instead, simply plug it into an available USB port on your computer. The hub is backward-compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 ports, and it can charge USB devices up to a combined 5V / 900mAh. Besides its aluminum case, the USB 3.0 3-Port Hub and Multi-Card Reader comes with a rubber bottom for stability and an LED indicator. Note: To avoid interference from USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 devices, make sure to connect wireless 2.4 GHz devices (including wireless keyboard and mice adapters) to USB 2.0 ports rather than the USB 3.0/3.1 hub. In addition, external hard drives connected to the hub should use their own external power sources. Make sure the combined current of connected devices doesn't exceed 5V / 900mAh. While this USB hub will allow iPads to sync data, it won't charge them.
