Product description Boasting a design similar to Apple iMac and MacBook systems, the USB 3.0 4-Port Aluminum Hub from Sabrent lets you add four USB 3.0/USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports to your compatible Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.This silver USB hub plugs doesn't require any installation software or drivers; simply plug it into an available USB port on your system. Built with an aluminum shell and a rubber bottom for stability, the Sabrent hub comes with a detachable 30" USB cable and boasts transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s. This USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub is backward-compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. Note: To avoid interference from USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 devices, make sure to connect wireless 2.4 GHz devices (including wireless keyboard and mice adapters) to USB 2.0 ports rather than the USB 3.0 hub. In addition, external hard drives connected to the hub should use their own external power sources. Make sure the combined current of connected devices doesn't exceed 5V / 900mAh. While this USB 3.0 hub will allow your devices to sync data, it won't charge them. Please check with the manufacturer for additional details. - Add four USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 ports to any compatible device. USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 are synonymous.
