Product description Add a trio of USB 3.1 Gen 1/USB 3.0 ports to your compatible device with the USB 3.0 3-Port Rotating Hub from Sabrent. Boasting a Mac-style design ideal for iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro, and Mac mini users, the hub is capable of transfer rates up to 5 Gb/s and comes with a swiveling connector that lets you rotate the hub up to 180°.Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, the USB 3.0 3-Port Rotating Hub doesn't require installation software or drivers; simply plug it into an available USB port. Other features include a blue LED indicator, a chipset designed to optimize data transfer speeds, and a corrosion-resistant aluminum and ABS case. Note: To avoid interference from USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 devices, make sure to connect wireless 2.4 GHz devices (including wireless keyboard and mice adapters) to USB 2.0 ports rather than the USB hub. In addition, external hard drives connected to the hub should use their own external power sources. Make sure the combined current of connected devices doesn't exceed 5V / 900mAh. While this USB hub will allow your devices to sync data, it won't charge them. Please check with the manufacturer for additional details. - Add three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports to your compatible computer. USB 3.1 Gen 1/USB 3.0 are synonymous.
