Product description

Operating in the 542 to 566 MHz frequency band, the Samson Concert 88 Micro Headset is a 16-channel true diversity UHF wireless system featuring the CR88 half-rack receiver, a CB88 beltpack transmitter, and a DE10 miniature condenser headset microphone. The frequency-agile UHF system can be used for clear voice capture in various environments, and offers up to 300' of reliable performance for singers, active performers, presenters, and more. It supports operation of up to 16 simultaneous systems for large productions. The CR88 receiver features a true diversity, dual-antenna design that minimizes signal dropouts by automatically choosing whichever antenna is receiving the strongest signal. In the event of a signal dropout or loss of transmitter power, the CR88 uses its tone key and auto mute features to prevent itself from receiving extraneous signal transmissions that would otherwise result in unwanted noise. Its XLR and 1/4" outputs ensure compatible connectivity with a variety of mixers and PA systems. The CR88 also provides a front-panel button to auto-sync the receiver to the CB88 beltpack transmitter via infrared signal. The transmitter, which operates for up to eight hours on two AA batteries (available separately), conveniently clips to a belt or waistband. Transmitter gain and receiver volume are adjustable for easy optimization of signal levels.
