Basic Laptops The 11.6" 16 GB Chromebook 3 from Samsung is a slim and lightweight notebook designed to provide you with a keen balance of capable computing and mobility. Powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron N3060 Dual-Core processor and 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, the Chromebook 3 can handle multitasking and everyday computing needs such as checking emails, watching videos, and composing papers.

The Chromebook 3 has an 11.6” (1366 x 768) anti-reflective HD screen driven by integrated Intel HD Graphics with a 180 degree hinge for easy screen sharing. You can even output video using its HDMI port. For storing files and programs, it is equipped with 16GB of eMMC flash storage, a specification commonly seen on many Chromebooks. When space runs low, you can attach additional storage options using its USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, and micro SD card slot. Connect to the Internet using 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and additional peripherals using Bluetooth wireless technology. It also has a built-in webcam, microphone, speakers for video chat capabilities, along with a single microphone and headphone combo jack. The operating system installed within Chromebooks is Chrome OS.Please note that in order to take full advantage of Chrome OS, you will need to be connected to the Internet.

  • The Chromebook 3 is compact and lightweight, measuring in at 0.7" thin and 2.54 pounds light, making it an ideal travel partner. Its battery is rated to last up to 11 hours on a single charge so you can leave the adapter at home and still use it for a full day. With Samsung's "Battery Life Extender" technology, it can keep 70% of its original capacity through a thousand cycles over three years.

  • Able to withstand regular tumbles, the Chromebook 3 is engineered to be strong for long-time use. It has a patterned, textured outer surface for an improved grip and a spill-resistant keyboard able to withstand small accidents, making it a great option for children. Additionally, a 180 degree hinge allows for easy screen sharing with others.

  • As a perk for Samsung customers, the Chromebook 3 comes with a convenient software package to help you get more out of your mobile experience. The software pack includes AirDroid Premium, which manages your Android devices for more intuitive and convenient accessibility across devices, and Little Bridge, a popular English learning program.
