Product description Samsung Makes your Home Smarter and Safer with SmartThings Products Read More Monitor and control devices in your home with the SmartThings Home Monitoring Kit from Samsung. This complete kit includes a smart outlet, motion sensor, two multipurpose sensors, and a SmartThings Hub to connect and integrate all included devices together.
The SmartThings Outlet allows you to remotely control the device plugged into it, customize scheduling, and turn the device on and off. Receive alert notifications from the SmartThings Motion Sensor and set up trigger events to turn on lights, or heating and cooling systems, when motion is detected.
The two SmartThings Multipurpose Sensors allow you to monitor the activity of entrances from doors or windows. When a door or window is opened or closed, an alert will go to your smartphone or tablet to keep you informed. You can also install a multipurpose sensor on drawers, cabinets, and more. The included SmartThings Hub allows you to access and customize settings for the motion sensor, two multipurpose sensors, and outlet, as well as other smart devices (available separately) using ZigBee, Z-Wave, or IP technology. - SmartThings Hub Control all of your smart devices with the SmartThings Hub from Samsung. Using the free SmartThings app, you can customize and schedule specific triggers and events to activate different devices, including light bulbs, outlets, motion sensors, cameras, and more. This hub works with Samsung SmartThings devices, as well as other ZigBee, Z-Wave, and IP devices.
When using a camera (available separately), the hub can send push notifications to your connected device to live stream up to 30 seconds before and two minutes after a specified event occurs. With two USB ports and an Ethernet port, this hub allows you to connect peripheral devices for added functionality. It is powered with the included AC power adapter, but has a backup battery option via four AA batteries. - Control all of your smart devices using one app

This motion detector can also help regulate temperatures in your home by allowing the thermostat to turn on cooling or heating based on motion.

When used with a hub (available separately), this outlet can be accessed and controlled from your smartphone to customize schedules and turn the connected device on and off. Not only does this outlet power a device, but it also extends ZigBee device ranges by acting as a ZigBee repeater when powered, allowing you to add additional devices to your ZigBee network.
This 3-prong outlet also allows connection to 2-prong plugs. It can power small appliances with a maximum load of 480W (12A), suitable for coffee makers, lamps, fans, and more.
