Product description The white SmartThings Multipurpose Sensor from Samsung enables you to receive alerts when a door or window is opened or closed. In addition, you'll be able to set connected devices such as lights to power on and off as you open doors, windows, or cabinets. This device can measure temperature and trigger your thermostat to adjust settings. The SmartThings app for iOS and Android enables monitoring and control of your connected devices.
This sensor utilizes the Zigbee protocol and has a 50 to 130' operating range. It is powered by an included CR2450 battery. A SmartThings hub, SmartThings Wi-Fi, or a compatible device with SmartThings hub functionality (available separately) is required for operation. - Requires SmartThings hub, SmartThings Wi-Fi, or compatible devices with SmartThings hub functionality (available separately)
