Product description - GoPro Red Filter - SANDMARC Aqua Series
The SANDMARC Aqua Dive Filter Set for GoPro HERO6/5 Black Super Suit is a set of five filters and a filter frame for underwater video and photography using the GoPro HERO6 and HERO5 Black. The filters are designed to compensate for the absorption of light wavelengths by the water you are diving in. The filter frame is designed to mount on the Super Suit Dive Housing for the HERO6/5, and it enables easy mounting and swapping of the filters.
The included red filters are designed for use in blue water and are marked for depth. As you dive deeper, more of the red wavelengths of light are absorbed, leading to an increasingly blue image. The red colored filters are depth marked to compensate for the wavelengths that are absorbed at different depths, thus minimizing the amount of color correction required. The magenta filter is designed to be used in green water, while the yellow filter is designed for use during night diving. - The red filters are marked for depth as follows:
- 5-20 ft
- 20-50 ft
- 50+ ft
