Product description The FirePro W5000 Professional Graphics Card from Sapphire is a mid-range workstation graphics card aimed at content creators using CAD/CAE or media creation software. The FirePro W5000 features 2GB of GDDR5 RAM over a 256-bit memory interface that along with the efficient Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture of the GPU can process up to 1.65 billion triangles per second. The performance of this card can be tapped to speed up many processes traditionally tackled by the CPU alone through any of the W5000's supported APIs. Supported API's include OpenGL 4.4, Open CL 1.2, and DirectX 12. For connecting to external dialysis this version of the W5000 has two DisplayPort 1.2 ports and one Dual-Link DVI-I port. The W5000 also supports up to 16-bit color per RGB channel (48-bit total) ensuring accurate color to those who demand it. Additionally up to five displays can be used concurrently through AMD Eyefinity technology and optional MST hubs. For cooling this card uses an active fansink cooler. A single axial fan forces air through the heatsink, dissipating it away from the card. While heat is recirculated into the case, this card won't cause heat issues in less spacious cases. - Unified Driver

- Full 30-Bit Display Pipeline
- It enables four times more color values than 24-bit products for more accurate color reproduction and better visual fidelity. 1

- The ZeroCore Power technology enables desktop GPUs to power down when your monitor is off. An energy-efficient design uses AMD PowerTune technology to dynamically optimize GPU power usage while AMD ZeroCore Power technology significantly reduces power consumption while idle.
- GeometryBoost
- GeometryBoost utilizes the unique hardware architecture that features dual graphics engines, allowing the GPU to process two primitives per clock cycle and provide ultra-high geometry processing performance. It allows you to be creative by ensuring ultra-high geometry performance and smooth handling of complex models. The use of GeometryBoost allows the GPU to process geometry data at a rate of twice per clock cycle resulting in a doubling in the rate of primitive and vertex processing. Triangle rates increase two-fold relative to a GPU that is not enabled with GeometryBoost.
