Product description The Mix-Adapter, 2-Channel XLR On-Camera Audio Adapter and Mixer from Saramonic is an ultra-compact and lightweight audio adapter for DSLR, mirrorless, and consumer video cameras. It can be used when paired with a microphone to capture broadcast-quality audio in outdoor and indoor environments. It provides all the controls and features necessary to achieve perfect sound in any shooting situation. The Mix-Adapter bridges the gap between DSLR and professional video cameras by enabling professional audio features such as +48V phantom power, XLR mic inputs, line inputs, and gain control for each microphone input to facilitate high-quality audio for recording directly to the camera. It is powered by a single 9V battery (sold separately). Furthermore, the top of the Mix-Adapter features an integrated microphone holder with a built-in shockmount, which is ideal for holding a professional shotgun mic. A built-in female shoemount is provided for mounting a wireless microphone receiver, an on-camera light or other gear. In addition, a metal shoemount is on the bottom for attaching your camera, and it also has a 1/4-20 tripod thread for further mounting options. It includes a short XLR cable.
