Product description Constructed from exceptionally durable chrome-plated steel, the three-section Pro Duty Steel Drop Stand from Savage rises to a maximum height of 7', has a folded length of 38", and can support gear weighing up to 30 lb. The term "Drop Stand" reveals an ingenious leg design. When moving the stand, there's no need to loosen and compact the legs, since lifting the stand causes the legs to retract and hug the riser until you reposition ("drop") the stand in a new spot, which then causes the legs to splay out again via gravity.
