Product description Suited to everything from predators to big game, the 1.5-8x42 Stratos Riflescope from Schmidt & Bender features a FlashDot reticle and programmable brightness for a customized view.Zoom magnification from 1.5 to 8x allows for accuracy at distance, while the generous 42mm objective gathers ample light and aids in low-light hunting early and late in the day. The bright FlashDot reticle makes targeting easy, and you can choose up to 48 daytime and nighttime brightness settings using Schmidt & Bender's Choose Your Light feature – connect the scope to your computer and dial in the settings most likely to be useful to you in the field. To get you precisely on-target, the scope has 0.1 MRAD/click impact point correction, with a windage and elevation adjustment range of ±1.0 MRAD to compensate for most terrain or wind conditions.The Stratos' housing features a 30mm one-piece maintube and is made of a lightweight aluminum alloy that has a scratch- and corrosion-resistant matte-black anodized finish. Since the scope was made to complement most rifles, including large caliber, it is recoil resistant to withstand years of shocks. The housing is nitrogen-filled to provide fogproof performance in all weather, and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and submersible to as much as 10'. - Optical Performance
