Product description Purpose-built as a versatile and utilitarian close to medium-long range optic, the Schmidt & Bender 1-8x24 Exos LM Riflescope has the FlashDot illuminated center aiming point and FD2 reticle located on the rear (second) focal plane to maintain a constant reticle size regardless of the zoom range selected. The low magnification enables both-eyes-open use for fast target acquisition and tracking, while the high 8x power extends the scope's reach and accuracy from close to medium-long range. The center FlashDot point has eleven intensity levels to make easily visible in all light, and completely disappears when it is turned off for an unobstructed view of the reticle and target. To get you precisely on-target is 0.1 mrad/click impact point correction with a windage and elevation adjustment range of ±1.0 mrad to compensate for most terrain or wind conditions.Its housing features a 30mm one-piece main-tube and is made of a lightweight aluminum alloy that has a scratch and corrosion-resistant matte-black anodized finish. Since the scope was made to complement most rifles, including large caliber, it is recoil resistant to withstand years of shocks. The housing is nitrogen-filled to provide the Exosfogproof performance in all weather, and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and submersible to as much as 10'. - Optical Performance
