Product description Schmidt & Bender offers an option to traditional American shooter's preference for 1" main-tubes with their 2.5-10x40 Summit LM Riflescope. The smaller tube has the added benefits of reducing weight and streamlining the profile without sacrificing performance. The scope's long range capabilities, coupled with the ruggedly built housing, makes this an ideal optic for magnum and large-caliber rifles being used for larger game at distances. Its broad zoom range and large objective gives this scope a long reach from the first pre-dawn glow to the final dying rays of sunset, with and increase in image brightness and contrast through the use of index-matched anti-reflection lens coatings that are custom-engineered to the glass used on the lens elements for maximum light transmission. This helps users to more easily spot game through thick brush and shadowed areas.The Summit features the A7 modified duplex crosshair reticle positioned on the second (rear) focal plane. To get you on-target is 1/4 MOA windage and elevation impact point correction, and ±13 MOA windage and -25 MOA elevation adjustment ranges. The scope's housing features a 1" one-piece main-tube and is made of a lightweight aluminum alloy that has a scratch and corrosion-resistant matte-black anodized finish. The housing is nitrogen-filled to provide the Summit fogproof performance in all weather, and O-ring sealed to be waterproof to 9.8 feet. - Optical Performance
