Successful missions often depend upon your ability to improvise-adapt-overcome. Consider the extreme savings, obstacles & hardships endured towards attaining success: when such efforts boil down to the moment of a single shot determining whether a life is saved or a trophy is bagged, excuses are irrelevant. Attempting to make a shot at a small target across long distances during twilight is challenging and rewarding when executed successfully. Being able to gain proper sight acquisition during first and last light can be impossible with some riflescopes. Schmidt & Bender's 2.5-10x56 Classic Riflescope is here to give you the optical edge you need to be on target quickly, accurately, and consistently. The optical design of this scope offers a wide field of view, long eye relief, and amazing brightness levels. Initiating what is to be your incredibly wondrous sight picture is a prodigious 56mm objective lens. Its larger diameter opening ensures that the maximum amount of light is transmitted to the optical stack, which results in extremely high twilight performance. Following along the path to your eye are several state of the art coated lens elements, each one designed carefully by Schmidt & Bender's optical engineers to provide incredibly high levels of light transmission, detail and overall sharpness. Finally, the 2.5-10x ocular gives you a noticeably wide field of view, and the flexibility to zoom in when needed for long range target acquisition on smaller targets. If you've ever tried to take a woodchuck at 200 yds off the hood of your truck with the sun setting quickly, or attempted to complete a 300 yd aggregate late in the day, you'll definitely appreciate having this scope mounted to your receiver. To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable, accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. This reticle stands out against heavy cover extremely well, while the fine stadia obscure a minimal amount of area in your sight picture for quick target acquisition.
First focal plane positioning of the reticle ensures consistent shot placement and accurate ranging calculations across the entire zoom range.
