The 30mm main tube with its 42mm objective rides low to your receiver, giving you a tactical advantage when maneuvering through difficult terrain. The flexible 3-12x zoom range is greatly appreciated by hunters and marksmen who find themselves in unfamiliar surroundings regularly. Long range target acquisition can be executed effectively at high magnification levels, while switching to up close and personal shooting can be done with a quick twist of the ocular. Hunters know that success is often achieved early in the morning and late in the day. Most game tends to move, and become visible during twilight, making it difficult for predators to see them. Schmidt & Bender have overcome this situation by engineering the optics in their riflescopes in such a way that they transmit a brilliant sight picture, even when light is scarce. To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience.
