Product description When the call went out from the US military, Schmidt & Bender answered it with their 4-16x42 PMIIP Riflescope, and found the delicate balance between low-light performance and low-profile size. Its combination of 42mm objective and custom-engineered index-matched anti-reflection lens coatings ensure bright and clear views with maximum light transmission and enhanced contrast from dawn to dusk, and allow users to discern subjects in heavily shadowed areas. The smaller objective allows the use of lower mounts and offers more mounting options over larger objective scopes.This version of the PMIIP features 0.1 mrad per click impact point correction, with ±6 mrad windage and 13 mrad elevation adjustment ranges and clockwise rotation turrets. The scope's housing has a larger 34mm one-piece main-tube to withstand higher-caliber rifles and is made of a lightweight aluminum alloy that has a scratch and corrosion-resistant matte-black anodized finish. The housing is nitrogen-filled to provide the scope with fogproof performance in all weather, and is O-ring sealed to be waterproof to 9.8 feet - Optical Performance

- Red illuminated center aiming cross with dots down lower vertical axis and across horizontal ranging scale
- Illuminated cross and dots completely disappear when turned off for unobstructed view of reticle and target
- Eleven adjustable illumination intensity levels
- 'Off' positions between each intensity level for faster activation to preferred setting
- Automatically turns off after 6 hours of operation
- Runs on one CR2032 coin-cell battery
