Product description The Schneider 35mm Componon is a classic professional enlarging lens. It is a 6-element, 4-group lens that is corrected for flat field, high contrast transfer, and excellent definition over the whole field. The high performance of the Componon is maintained even at high magnifications. Mechanically, the Schneider Componon's also match the latest state of the art with illuminated aperture scales, click stops as well as stop-less aperture adjustments and with preset aperture controls. Disengaging the click stop system permits precise fine adjustment of the aperture when working with color analyzers and other meter systems. Once the lens is stopped down to the desired aperture, the preset control allows it to be reopened fully for cropping and/or refocusing, and then stopped down again to the working aperture shown on the luminous scale. This Componon 35 f/4 lens is fitted in a barrel with lighted click stops and a M39mm rear mount. - Classic 24 x 24mm enlarging lens
