Product description The Schneider 4x5.65" Classic Black Soft 1/4 Water White Glass Filter combines the benefits of Classic Soft with the subtle effects of Black Frost 1/8. It is ideal for close-ups, and can be used to facilitate a seamless transition in the look and continuity from scene to scene. Black Frost filters flare highlights, mute colors, and tone down contrast, while retaining rich blacks. This is a very useful combination of effects for 16mm and 35mm film, as well as for HD and standard video. These are primarily styling, or mood modifying filters. Note: Classic Black Soft filters are available in strengths of 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 - with 2 having the greatest effect High-Quality Construction - Schneider solid color filters feature crystal clear, water-white optical glass, protected against edge-chipping and delamination by Schneider's unique Edge Seal, which also significantly reduces edge reflections and flare
