• CMIT 5U Shotgun Microphone (Blue) The blue Schoeps CMIT 5U is a short, lightweight shotgun condenser microphone designed to deliver accurate close and distant capture of dialog and musical instruments for boom operators, audio engineers, and musicians in film, television, and video production as well as music recording applications. Its supercardioid/lobe-shaped polar pattern yields precise directionality, high immunity to wind noise, and low coloration at the off-axis sections of the capsule. Multiple filter settings allow you to tailor the 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response to suit different environments and scenarios. A 40 Hz roll-off is active without any filter selection; the switches provide low-cut filters at 80 Hz or 300 Hz for management of proximity effect and handling noise, while a selectable high-frequency boost at 10 kHz enables increased vocal clarity and compensation for high-frequency loss caused by windscreens. LED indicators provide a reading of settings in low light and the settings are retained after power down. No batteries are required as the CMIT 5U is operated via 48V phantom power. It includes a windscreen, mic clip, and wood case.

• W 140G Foam Windscreen for Schoeps CMIT5U and MiniCMIT Shotgun Microphones (Gray) The gray Schoeps W 140G is a windscreen designed to fit a Schoeps CMIT5U or MiniCMIT shotgun microphone and provide significant reduction of plosives and wind noise for sound recordists and boom operators in field recording, interviews, ENG, and film and television production. Its acoustic foam construction protects the mic from moisture and dirt commonly encountered in outdoor environments. W 140 windscreens deliver up to 18 dBA of wind-noise reduction.

• Cyclone Windshield Kit (Large) Ideal for a multitude of outdoor ENG, broadcast, and film applications, this large Cyclone Windshield Kit from Rycote features a two-piece "Z-Locking" basket design that magnetically affixes around your microphone, isolating the mic from wind-caused noise. Up to 50 dB of reduction can be achieved with use of the Cyclone Windshield alone, and >60 dB is possible when used with a Windjammer on top of it. Increased transparency is achieved due to the cone-like shape, which reduces reflections from parallel surfaces in the recording environment, providing clean audio recordings during outdoor interviews, location shoots, and more. It's designed to provide wind noise reduction that exceeds traditional modular-style windshield/windjammer combined performance.
  
  The Cyclone introduces a "multi-suspension" design that provides isolation against handling noise, cable-borne noises, and windshield basket self-noise. This multi-suspension design inhibits noise and vibration induced by the windshield itself from being mechanically transmitted, thereby improving recording quality.
  
  The kit includes the Cyclone Suspension fitted with 72-shore Universal Lyres, a Cyclone XLR cable, a large Cyclone Windshield, a pair of Universal Lyres 62-shore for lightweight microphones, and a hex key driver for making adjustments to the Lyres on the suspension.
