Product description The Schoeps ORTF Stereo Outdoor Set is a pair of Schoeps condenser microphones with a basket-type windscreen designed for ORTF stereo recording of dialog and instruments indoors or outdoors in windy conditions. It includes a matched pair of CCM 4 Lg cardioid condenser microphones, a WSR ORTF LU windscreen, an XLR 5-pin extension, and a break-out cable that converts an XLR 5-pin to two XLR 3-pin jacks.
The microphones boast wide frequency responses, excellent off-axis rejection, and compact bodies. The included basket-type windscreen is acoustically transparent and offers significant vibration isolation and wind-noise reduction. Its microphone mounting bracket holds the mics in a perfect ORTF stereo configuration, making setup fast and easy.An integrated cable system merges the individual mic outputs to an XLR 5-pin jack. Connect the XLR 5-pin output to the supplied XLR 5-pin extension and breakout cable, which converts an XLR 5-pin to two XLR 3-pin connectors. From there, you can easily route signal to your preferred mic preamps. - CCM4 LG Cardioid Compact Microphone The Schoeps CCM4 is a miniature cardioid microphone featuring a detachable cable and designed for use on singing and speaking voices as well as a wide variety of instruments. It can be used as a spot microphone or for stereo recording with additional mics in coincident, ORTF, or M/S microphone arrangements.The CCM 4 offers a flat frequency response, optimal rejection of rear-incident sound, and a directional pattern that remains constant throughout the audio frequency range. This mic is free of coloration whether the sound is arriving at the front, the sides, or from all around the mic at once.

- WSR ORTF LU Basket-Type Windscreen & ORTF Stereo Mounting Bar The Schoeps WSR ORTF LU Basket-Type Windscreen & ORTF Stereo Mounting Bar is a full basket windshield and stereo mounting solution for Schoeps CCM series microphones. The system includes a basket windshield for optimum noise suppression in windy conditions, a STC 4G stereo bar for mounting a pair of CCM 4L microphones, and an STC 22G stereo bar for mounting a pair of CCM 22 microphones (microphones not included).Also included are an elastic suspension, Y-cable and connbox with an 5-pin XLR male output. The entire system allows the microphone capsules to be kept at a distance of 6.69" (17cm) apart, and an angle of 110° for optimum stereo results. Everything is easily mounted on a boompole, pistol-grip or any stand with a 3/8" thread. The Schoeps WSR ORTF LU is a viable solution for professional stereo audio recording in video, film and professional recording applications alike.

This cable remains flexible even in cold conditions and is non-twisting when used for hanging a microphone.
- AK SU/2U Cable for Stereo Microphones The AK SU/2U Adapter Cable from Schoeps is for use with stereo microphones MSTC 64 Ug (ORTF), KFM 6 and KFM 360 (sphere microphones) as well as the CMXY 4V Ug (X/Y microphone). The cable is used to adapt a stereo XLR-5F jack to two XLR-3M plugs. The combination of this adapter cable with its inverse counterpart (AK 2U/SU: 2 x XLR-3F to XLR-5M) and an XLR-5 extension cable makes it possible to use just one cable for a stereo setup.
