Product description The black Schoeps W5D 3.5" Hollow Foam Ball Windscreen is an acoustic foam windscreen made with dead-air space that separates the mic capsule from the outside layer of foam and its velour-like surface treatment. The air space gives the WD5 a significant improvement in wind-reduction over the W5 and makes it an excellent choice for use with the MK 4, MK 41, MK 21, and MK 22 directional capsules. It's also very effective with the MK 2, MK 2H, MK 2S, and MK 2XS omnidirectional capsules. It is very transparent with minimal effect on the sound. - Color to Match
- The W5D is designed to match and blend into your existing equipment with a black porous velvet-like surface treatment.
