Product description Designed as a drum microphone with applications beyond capturing your drum kit, the X1 D Kick Drum Condenser Microphone from sE Electronics can handle the SPLs produced by a kick drum while also being suited for piano and upright bass duties. Its titanium-sputtered capsule helps provide a faster transient response than a typical gold-sputtered capsule, allowing the X1 D to naturally capture drums and percussion sources. Its cardioid pattern helps reduce off-axis material, helping isolate your kick drum from the rest of your kit.
The microphone has a -10 dB pad, allowing flexibility in placement on particularly loud sources, and its bass cut at 80 Hz allows you to remove any unwanted low end sound.
