Product description Capture the beauty and variety of sea life at depths up to 328' with your Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera and 30mm f/3.5 Macro or 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, thanks to this Sea & Sea MDX-a6000 Underwater Housing. Dual fiber-optic ports enable the connection of optional external strobes via cables. Mechanical controls afford access to all camera functions. Built for durability, the housing is constructed from a galvanized, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy. It ships with the ML Flat Port 33 for the Sony 30mm f/3.5 Macro or 16-50mm lens, and accepts the optional ML Dome Port for the 10-18mm, 16mm f/2.8, or 16-50mm lens. - Depth Rating: 328' for body and lens port
- Made from a galvanized, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy
- Equipped with front and rear sacrificial zinc anodes, which corrode in seawater to prevent sensitive parts of housing from doing so
- Optional leak sensor with LED lamp can be installed to alert you in unlikely event of a breach in waterproof seal
- By attaching optional SA8 Fixed Ball Bases to designated mounts on top of housing, you can use SA8 components without a hand grip or tray
- Optional SA8 Ball Base for Accessory Shoe gives you even more lighting options
- Housing has accessory shoe on top for lighting arm connection, and threaded mount on bottom for tripod/tray attachment

- Movie recording button can be activated with no trouble, although surrounding area is hollowed out to avoid accidental pressing
- Trigger-shaped shutter lever
- Camera's built-in flash can be activated and deactivated via housing's built-in flash activation button and flash disablement lever
- Housing allows camera's LCD monitor to be tilted up 10°
- Use of optional hand strap recommended when tray/stay is not used

- ML Dome supports Sony 16mm f/2.8 Wide Angle and 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom lenses
- Conversion lenses VCL-ECU1 and VCL-ECF1 are also supported
- Sony 10-18mm Wide Angle Zoom lens and VCL-ESU1 conversion lens may be used when ML Extension Ring 25 is added
