Product description Capture detailed images of the underwater world at depths up to 262' with this Port, Ring, and Gear Set for Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM Lens from Sea & Sea. The package bundles the Fisheye Dome Port 240, Conversion Ring 25, compatible zoom gear, NX Dome Port Cover, and Rear Port Cover (L).
The kit ships without the required Extension Ring 40L, which attaches to the corrosion-resistant, aluminum Conversion Ring 25 and enables you to lock this ring using its port lock lever. Then, the extension ring can be mounted onto the camera housing. Next, the lens with installed zoom gear is mounted onto the camera, and the port is attached to the conversion ring. Please bear in mind that this kit is only compatible with housings equipped with a lens release button on the front. Additionally, the lens must be operated in auto focus mode as manual focus is not possible with this setup.
Sea & Sea's Fisheye Dome Port 240 is suitable for a broad array of wide-angle, full-frame lenses. The dome itself is made of acrylic with an anti-reflective coating, while the base and frame are constructed from a corrosion-resistant, anodized aluminum alloy. Two ABS resin shades, one on either side of the dome, further minimize reflection and glare to improve visibility and image quality. The supplied front and rear covers protect the port when it's not in use.
