This 2.5" Enterprise drive features a 300GB capacity and a SAS 12 Gb/s interface. It also features a fast rotational speed of 15,000 rpm, which will allow data to be accessed more quickly than with a 7200 rpm drive. Its 128MB cache will help to ensure uninterrupted data transfers and when dual SAS ports are utilized, a maximum instantaneous transfer rate of 2,400 MB/s may be achieved. Additionally, the drive's 2 million hours MTBF combined with its AFR of 0.44% will help to ensure that this drive has a strong operational life. For those who are looking for low power consumption to compliment the drive's fast rotational speed, PowerChoice technology helps to maximize energy efficiency and the 2.5" form factor further helps to reduce power consumption when compared to 3.5" drives.
