Product description The FOCUS Plus 80-PLUS Platinum Power Supply efficiently powers up a desktop's internal components by offering up to 550W of energy through fully modular cables. The FOCUS Plus comes armed with two PCIe (8/6-pin) and six SATA connectors to run graphics cards and storage drives. Other notable connectors include three for older peripherals, utilizing a 4-pin molex design. Aside from the connections, the power supply has a variable-speed fan and a fan-control button, so you can turn the fan off under low loads and on while gaming or editing videos. Additionally, it lets you improve the airflow within a system by removing unused cables. - 80 PLUS Platinum
- The higher the level of efficiency of the power supply, the less power gets wasted in the form of excess heat. The 80 PLUS Platinum certification provides greater than 90, 92, and 89% efficiency at 20, 50, and 100% operating loads, respectively.
- Compact Design
- This densely packed power supply features a small footprint of 5.5" (140mm), making it suitable for compact ATX cases.
- Fluid Dynamic Fan Bearing
- Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fans are designed to take advantage of the impact absorbance effects of oil. They are reliable and generate considerably less operating noise and heat than ball bearing fans. The lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration and therefore lowers overall power consumption. Due to the effortless, quieter rotations and its durable construction, this reliable fan technology also increases the lifespan of the fan.
- Hybrid Silent Fan Control
- Seasonic's three-phased thermal control provides optimal silence and cooling. This Hybrid Silent Fan Control functions in three operational stages: Fanless Mode, Silent Mode, and Cooling Mode. Benefits of this design include reduced noise, extended fan life, optimized heat dissipation, and silent performance in fanless mode. Additionally, there is a switch at the back of the power supply that allows you to customize cooling by selecting between the Seasonic S2FC (fan control without Fanless Mode) and the S3FC (fan control including Fanless Mode).
- Additional Features
- The FOCUS Plus power supply is designed with a tight voltage regulation, which reduces voltage variations, to provide smooth and stable operations. Moreover, the back panel and PCB are connected by a copper plate instead of cables to lower the chance of production errors and improve power output quality.
