Product description The iD-SERIAL Fingerprint Reader from SecuGen Corporation utilizes the SDA04P optical sensor to deliver fast and accurate fingerprint verification. Auto-On technology allows for automatic finger detection. Smart Capture scanning is capable of capturing fingerprints from difficult fingers, such as those with dry, wet, or scarred skin. Additionally, the iD-SERIAL works in challenging environments and conditions, such as direct sunlight.
The iD-SERIAL has an RS-232 interface and uses an RJ22 modular jack, enabling flexibility in cable configurations. The included SecuSearch fingerprint ID algorithm offers fast 1:N search capabilities. This device is scratch-, impact-, vibration-, and electrostatic-shock-resistant. - Suitable for point of sale, time & attendance, or any fingerprint application that requires a serial interface
- Automatic finger detection technology
