Product description The iD-USB SC Fingerprint Scanner & Card Reader from SecuGen Corporation is a PC/SC compliant optical fingerprint scanner and contact card reader. It combines a SecuGen SDU03P fingerprint sensor and HID OMNIKEY 3121 card reader to provide dual-layer security, authentication, and access control.
Auto-On technology allows for automatic finger detection. Smart Capture scanning technology is capable of capturing fingerprints from difficult fingers, such as those with dry, wet, or scarred skin. Additionally, the iD-USB SC works in challenging environments and conditions, such as direct sunlight.
This device does not require an additional power supply thanks to being USB-powered. It is scratch-, impact-, vibration-, and electrostatic-shock-resistant. - Suitable for time & attendance, logical & physical access control, or any application that requires multi-factor fingerprint and smart card authentication
