Product description Designed with a fingerprint sensor, optical tracking, and Smart Capture technology, the OptiMouse Plus from SecuGen can be used for authentication and verification functions in which fingerprints act like digital passwords. Constructed with two programmable buttons, a scroll wheel, and 500 dpi of resolution, the OptiMouse Plus connects to your system via USB and operates using 5V from the USB bus. Its sensor is resistant to scratches, impact, vibration, and electrostatic shock, and thanks to latent print image removal, it will not accept prints left behind as a form of authentication. It also features automatic finger detection technology and is even able to scan fingers that are dry, wet, and scarred in challenging environments, such as direct sunlight. Supported operating systems include Windows 10, 8.1, 8, and 7, Windows Server 2012 and 2008 R2, and Java. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty.
