Product description The Sena Prism Bluetooth Action Camera Motorcycle Pack features a 1080p action camera with unique Bluetooth capabilities such as remote voice recording, remote control, and voice feedback from operations. Included with the camera is a set of quick-release mounting accessories for motorcyclists, allowing you to capture hands-free video while adding remote audio from Bluetooth headsets and intercoms as you ride. Mounting options include a handlebar mount, suction cup, and adhesive mounts, and helmet mounts. The camera body is water-resistant for use in wet or rainy conditions, with a 131' rated waterproof housing included for underwater use.
A fixed-focal-length lens provides an ultra-wide 140° angle-of-view to capture just about everything happening in front of the lens. Using a 3.5MP CMOS sensor, the Prism supports Full HD 1080p video at 30 fps and 3.5MP JPEG still photos in microSD/SDHC cards up to 32GB in capacity. It can also record 720p video at 60/30 fps, 848x480p video up to 120 fps, and take 5MP interpolated photos. For convenient viewing of your footage on your HDTV straight from the camera, a micro HDMI port is provided.
The Sena Prism is Bluetooth 4.0 capable and is full compatibility with Sena Motorcycle Bluetooth products, supporting remote audio recording, remote control, and voice prompts. It is can also be used with other Bluetooth headsets in the market that support the hands-free profile (HFP) and audio/video remote control profile (AVRCP) with limited functionality. - Bluetooth Audio Recording
- With the use of Bluetooth headsets, the Sena Prism allows you to add your voice to videos as you record using the Bluetooth Audio Recording feature. Along with your own voice, you can include audio from your friends or riding buddies through the use of an optional Bluetooth intercom device to create a mixed audio experience. Being able to narrate the video during recording not only provides users a whole new experience but also reduces the need for follow-up audio editing allowing for in the moment audio experiences.
- Bluetooth Remote Control
- While most cameras require wires or direct touch communication, the Sena Prism can be operated hands-free by using the remote control capability from Bluetooth headsets. The wireless remote control allows for more versatile control through the audio/video remote control profile (AVRCP) of Sena's Bluetooth products. The Bluetooth remote control also uses less power than Wi-Fi used by many other action cameras.
- Voice Prompts
- The Sena Prism comes with a voice prompt feature that allows users to receive clearer feedback from operations such as video start/stop commands, voice recording, communications, and more. Utilizing voice prompts helps to eliminate the concern and uneasiness of knowing which mode, whether on or off, while the camera is being control remotely. It also lets you keep your eyes on the road as your ride.
- Quick Release Mount System
- The camera uses a QRM (Quick Release Mount) interface for easy attaching to Sena accessories. The QRM allows users to easily install and uninstall the camera as needed helping to reduce the time and complications spent setting up for adventures and rides. The mounts come in various types that provide fast and secure ways to switch the camera mount system on motorcycles and helmets. Once users set up the system at a desired angle, the camera can then be mounted and released without using any screws or bolts or changing the camera angle allowing for quick and easy use.
