Product description The Sennheiser EM2000 Wireless System with Handheld and Bodypack Transmitter (Nickel) is a 1 unit rackmountable professional wireless microphone solution intended for broadcast, TV Studios, theatre productions, sporting events, rental houses, and other wireless applications. The package consists of one EM 2000 receiver, one SK 2000 bodypack transmitter, and one SKM 2000 handheld microphone transmitter. The system can utilize up to five different windows of up to 75 MHz within the UHF range for a total of up to 3,000 transmission frequencies. Among these, there are 20 transmission channel bands with up to 64 presets and 6 channel bands that allow up to 64 user-programmable transmission channels. The receiver features continuous channel scanning and true diversity reception, wherein the device will automatically switch to the antenna that is receiving the strongest signal. This helps to prevent audio dropouts as radio conditions change.
The SKM 2000 handheld transmitter syncs with the receiver via infrared and includes a backlit display for monitoring. The microphone also includes external charging contacts for recharging the Sennheiser BA 2014 rechargeable battery while it is still in the transmitter. To prevent a button from being accidentally pressed, the microphone includes an auto-lock feature, as well as audio and RF muting. The handheld microphone transmitter is compatible with all Sennheiser EW capsules, offering you a variety of choices. This system includes a microphone with a Nickel finish.
The SK 20000 bodypack transmitter also syncs with the receiver via infrared, includes a backlit display for monitoring, auto-lock, RF, and audio muting. External charging contacts allow you to recharge the BA 2014 rechargeable battery while it is in the transmitter. To prevent a button from being accidentally pressed, the bodypack transmitter includes an auto-lock feature, as well as audio and RF muting. The transmitter has an audio frequency response of 25 to 20,000 Hz with enhanced bass response so that you can connect a bass guitar. - Four Selectable Equalizer Presets
- You can select from flat, low cut, low cut + high boost, and high boost presets
- Pilot Tone Squelch Suppression
- The transmitter adds an inaudible pilot tone to the signal that the system receives. The receiver detects the tone and utilizes it to control squelch and suppress RF interference from other wireless devices
- HDX Noise Reduction
- The system features the HDX wideband compander which compresses the audio signal by a ratio of 2:1 to raise it above the RF noise floor and then expands the signal by a ratio of 1:2 to restore the original
- WSM PC Software
- The system comes with Sennheiser's WSM software which allows you to control the receiver using a PC connected by Ethernet. The software includes comprehensive mixing control, an RF spectrum analyzer, and an RF level recorder. You can program all of your settings directly when connected to the hardware or in off-line mode and have them applied later. Up to six PC or Mac computers can control the system at a time over the network
- Cascade up to Eight Devices
- Up to eight dual-channel rackmount wireless receivers may be daisy-chained together via the systems antenna loop-through port
- Guitar Tuner
- For convenience, the wireless receiver includes a built-in guitar tuner
