Product description The GSX 1200 PRO Audio Amplifier from Sennheiser enhances the audio coming from your computer with a dedicated DAC chip to make it suitable for gaming environments. The amplifier connects to your Windows or Mac system via an included USB cable and creates 7.1 virtual surround sounds for your audio peripherals. In addition, the GSX 1200 PRO can also operate as a Chat Link, utilizing an included chat link cable and two 2.5mm chat link jacks, for connecting up to eight GSX 1200 PRO audio amplifiers together for hard-wired, lag-free communication.
Sennheiser has outfitted the GSX 1200 PRO with three 3.5mm audio jacks so you can have your headset and speakers connected at the same time. To adjust sound levels, speaker focus, and EQ settings quickly, an LED touch display and an aluminum volume wheel are on board. Additionally, the touch panel lets you switch between headphones and speakers on the fly. - Gaming Audio
- The GSX 1200 PRO audio amplifier comes with a binaural rendering engine that features a 7.1 virtual surround algorithm for delivering simulated surround sounds. The GSX 1200 PRO comes with enough jacks so you can have a headset and a pair of speakers connected at the same time. It can also be connected to eight other GSX 1200 PROs, letting you create a hard-wired, lag-free communication setup between your teammates.
- Sound Settings on the Fly
- Featuring a red LED-lit touch display and an aluminum volume wheel, the GSX 1200 PRO lets you rapidly adjust sound on the fly. The red-on-black display dims down when not in use to cut down distractions, and brightens the instant it senses your hand is near. It allows you to adjust the Sidetone, which changes how loud your own voice sounds, and switch between your headset and speakers without unplugging cables.
- Sound Quality
- The GSX 1200 PRO has been designed with a dedicated DAC chip that requires no additional drivers. The amplifier gives you precise control of both game and communication sounds, allowing for separate adjustment and USB inputs for each. Besides the range of EQ settings, it is possible to set Reverberation levels to change how the user feels in physical spaces of the game, and even increase the surround speakers for back and front speaker focus.
