Product description The black IE 800 S In-Ear Headphones from Sennheiser are designed to deliver distortion-free, in-ear audio performance and a detailed, lifelike sound image. They employ Sennheiser's 7mm extra-wide band (XWB) transducers, and a dual-chamber absorber (D2CA) system, which removes undesired resonances that can obscure the sound. The IE 800 S headphones' high-end listening experience is further enhanced by a choice of cables with 4-pole 4.4mm Pentaconn and 2.5mm balanced connectors, in addition to the standard cable with a 3.5mm jack. These headphones have a matte-black finish and are built with a scratch-resistant ceramic housing. Wearing comfort is ensured using Comply viscoelastic memory foam ear tips. They shape themselves to each user's ear canal for a custom fit and provide attenuation of external sounds. Also included are silicone ear tips and a premium leather carry case. - The Music Unfolds
- The IE 800 S generate a lifelike sound image. They offer shimmering trebles as well as a precise and natural bass sound. These headphones allow you to explore your music in all its depth.

- The IE 800 S feature a dual-chamber absorber (D2CA) system, which helps overcome the "masking effect" — where low-volume components of a sound are obscured by much louder sounds in a lower frequency range occurring at the same time. The technology removes the energy from any masking resonances to prevent unwanted peaks. The nuances of sound become audible, enabling a high-end listening experience.
