Product description The ME 64 is a cardioid shotgun microphone capsule designed for use with the K6 and K6P powering modules. It has a very wide range of applications including reporting, interviews, dubbing, live-sound reinforcement and recording applications. It has a matte-black, anodised, scratch-resistant finish.
This kit includes the K6P powering module, the heart of Sennheiser's professional modular condenser microphone system. It is similar to the K6 powering module but is powered by 12 - 48V phantom power only, for use where battery power is not required (e.g. permanent installations). The K6P can be combined with various microphone heads to produce microphones with a variety of pickup patterns. You can assemble a complete microphone, with your choice of pick-up pattern, by combining the K6P with one of five different K6-series microphone heads (not included).
The K6P features a black, anodized, scratch-resistant finish. It's designed for use in situations where phantom power is present. Users who need a battery-powered mic can purchase Sennheiser's K6, instead. The K6P features a switchable bass roll-off filter to help reduce low end rumble, handling noise, wind noise, and pops.
