The MKE 2 digital from Sennheiser is a professional solution for mobile recording that can be utilized to capture audio for several applications using iOS devices such as iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini, and much more. An Apogee external converter does the analog-to-digital signal conversion using 24-bit/96 kHz sampling rate when connected to a iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. This allows for a signal that surpasses CD quality.The corresponding apps (MetaRecorder and Maestro) for recording and control are included in the package. In addition, the apps deliver metadata for further processing, thus making recording a simple matter. Essential features of MetaRecorder can also be controlled from the Apple Watch - start and stop recording, add a take to favorites, add markers or set your microphone input level.
