Product description The SDW 5016 Super Wideband Wireless Office Headset from Sennheiser is designed to be a single-sided premium DECT wireless headset for modern office professionals who communicate via desk phone and softphone. This headset provides dynamic flexibility with three wearable modes, which includes a headband, ear hook, and neckband for your favorite work style. When you need to grab something away from your desk, you don't have to worry about your call disconnecting since the SDW 5016 is designed to operate at a range of up to 180' in a typical office setting. Other perks include a noise-canceling, two-microphone system and voice detection technology for speech clarity.
The SDW 5016 is a communication tool that's designed to provide seamless interactions. It also has a battery that can last for most of the work day with different operating modes. In super wideband mode, the headset can provide up to 6 hours of talk time, and up to 10 hours of talk time in narrowband mode. Moreover, the SDW 5016 offers up to 48 hours if left on standby mode.
Sennheiser ensures the SDW 5016 is safe to use with its integrated ActiveGard technology, which provides hearing protection for your ears. Additionally, this headset protects your paired data with 128-bit encryption keys and DECT Security certified technology. Furthermore, the SDW 5016 headset comes with a base station to hold or connect your system when it's not in use, as well as the BTD 800 Bluetooth USB dongle. Through the remote efforts of a Tech was able to get back online, however, "settings" are only listed 1 - 5 with no action listed as was 'visibly' available, (i.e. Scan both sides, Black and White, Color, etc.)
