Product description The SPB 8000 Esfera Surround Sound Process Base by Sennheiser is for converting stereo microphone signals into 5.1 surround. It can be used in various environments when capturing audio in studios, live stage, theater, rehearsals, houses of worship, and more. The system consists of the SPM 8000 stereo microphone, (sold separately), and the SPB 8000 processing unit that converts the stereo signals of the microphone into a complete 5.1 audio signal. The DPB 8000 supplies the microphone with 48V phantom power, is input switchable between analog and digital AES3 signals and has a switchable compressor built-in. In addition it features 4 programmable presets for storage of 5.1 surround parameters. The SPB 8000 is adjustable via a web interface.
