Product description The Sescom SES-XLR-ISO-01 is a single-channel audio isolation transformer. Its function is to eliminate the differences in grounding points between equipments that can cause AC power currents that muddy up the signal path. With a single transformer-isolated XLR path and a ground-lift switch, the box can remove the buzz and hum associated with ground loops.
The coupling transformer provided within the box is designed to reject the noise present in the input signal, thereby giving you a cleaner audio signal on the way out. The box itself is fashioned out of a durable compact aluminum housing. It's relatively compact and lightweight, taking up only 4.0 x 2.5 x 2.0" of space at 1 lb.
