Product description The Sescom IL-19-HUM-DROP 6 Channel Hum Eliminator/Isolator for FOH helps to eliminate audio hum for Front of House and live performances. The unit features a compact and rugged design and can easily be installed anywhere along the signal path. Featuring 6 balanced XLR female inputs and 6 XLR male outputs, this transformer is compatible with most professional audio systems. This device is designed to eliminate the 3 most common sources of audio hum; ground loop hum, mode noise, and differentially induced hum. Other hum eliminators only fix one of these problems at a time and often require the use of multiple transformers, ground lifters, or phase inverters.
Sescom transformers are engineered for flatter, broader frequency response, thus allowing a hotter signal throughput without saturation. These transformers also provide support against radiated noises and reducing the pickup of hum and interference from outside sources. The IL-19-HUM-DROP eliminates unwanted signals from the circuit, but also reduces induced noise, providing high-quality line level isolation to eliminate hum and buzz from interacting devices. - Provides hum relief for audio systems with XLR connectors such as live sound, radio and broadcast audio, and line level equipment interfaces. Applications include decoupling lines to reduce hum, isolating drive lines to on-stage power amps, and long line cable runs.
