Product description The SES-AUDIO-N-HDMI from Sescom is an HDMI audio inserter that allows you to replace the audio in an HDMI signal path with audio from an external source. You can simultaneously connect two external audio sources: one via the optical digital input, and one via the L/R RCA inputs. You can then switch between the two external sources, or use the original HDMI audio. These features can be used in A/V scenarios such as video presentations in which a speaker may wish to periodically interrupt the audio from a DVD player with audio from his or her microphone. This way the speaker can add commentary to a video presentation in place of the DVD's audio, without interrupting its video. The device is HDMI 1.3, HDCP 1.2 and DVI 1.0 compliant and features support for 3D HDMI, high-bit-rate audio and a TMDS clock frequency rate of 225 MHz. - Stereo and Multi-Channel Surround Support
- Insert stereo audio from mixers and iPods as well as multi-channel surround format audio from DVD players or computers into an HDMI signal path. External output sources can be connected to the unit's digital optical input or analog RCA inputs.
- Switch Between Digital Input, Analog Input, or Original HDMI Audio
- Allows for switching between the digital input, the analog input, or the original HDMI audio
- High-Quality Audio
- Supports HDMI sample rates up to 192 kHz and optical sample rate up to 48 kHz
- Use up to 30' from Destination
- Cable distances up to approximately 30 feet at 1080p with 8 or 12-bit resolution
