Product description The Vice Grip Compressor from Seymour Duncan is a compact guitar pedal designed to delivers studio-quality dynamic control without sacrificing tone. This true bypass analog pedal utilizes a voltage controlled amplifier (VCA) to tame loud volume peaks, boost low level signals, and blend the amount of compressed and uncompressed signal. The attack control sets how quickly the compressor reacts, allowing the original transient through at slower settings, while the sustain control offers a ratio of 1:1 to more than 20:1 for a wide range of compressed tones and articulation.
The volume control not only allows you to balance the signal between the pedal and bypass, but also acts as a clean boost for solos and leads. The Mid/Full/High toggle switch adds a sparkle to high end, fattens up the uncompressed signal with increased harmonic overtones, or makes sure your effected sound remains consistent with your bypassed guitar tone.
